Whether it’s a handwritten recipe from your grandmother, a love note, your child’s first written words, a signature, or a message from someone special – I can transform your original handwriting into a timeless ceramic keepsake.
Every piece is individually handcrafted and decorated using your actual handwritingโnot a font or digital recreation. Your words become part of the ceramic, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that can be treasured for generations.
How it works
1. Choose your handwritten message
Select the handwritten note, recipe, signature, letter, or message you would like to preserve.
For the best results:
- Please provide a high-quality scan (no photographs).
- The paper should have a white or light-coloured background.
- Handwriting should be in dark ink and easy to read.
- Very small or heavily overlapping handwriting may not transfer clearly.
- If your original paper includes lines, grids or patterns, these will be included. If you want them removed, you can add the “Editing Service”
2. Choose your ceramic piece
Select from the available mugs, bowls, plates, platters or other handmade ceramic pieces.
Each product has a different area available for your handwriting. The maximum printable area is listed on each product page, allowing you to choose a design that best suits your message.
3. Personalise your design
Tell me where you would like your handwriting to appear.
Depending on the product, you may choose:
- one side
- both sides
- inside or outside
- a custom placement
If you are unsure, I’m happy to help you find the best layout.
4. Upload your scan
After placing your order, you’ll receive instructions for submitting your scanned handwriting.
If you have any questions before ordering, or if you’re unsure whether your handwriting is suitable, feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to check your file before you purchase.
5. Handmade especially for you
Every piece is individually handcrafted, decorated with your handwriting, glazed and kiln fired in my studio in Norway.
Because each item is made by hand, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Production Time
Please allow approximately 4โ6 weeks from the time your scan has been received.
If your order is for a special occasion, such as a wedding, anniversary or birthday, please get in touch before ordering and I’ll do my best to meet your deadline.
