My signature lines are born from the places, beings, and moments that inspire me most. The raw beauty of Svalbard, with its endless horizons, Arctic light, and untamed wilderness, fuels much of my creativity. Nature in all its forms—shifting seasons, delicate textures, and striking contrasts—finds its way into my work. So do my pets, whose warmth, character, and presence remind me daily of the joy in small details and the bonds that shape our lives.
Each piece is an exploration. I experiment with techniques, colours, and materials, allowing curiosity to guide the process. Sometimes this means traditional handwork, other times new methods or unexpected combinations. The result is a collection that carries both consistency and surprise—pieces tied together by inspiration, yet free to grow and evolve.
My signature lines are not only about finished creations but also about the journey: the play between tradition and experimentation, stillness and movement, simplicity and depth.
For long-lasting enjoyment, please follow my care guide.
Please note: the photographs of my work were taken in professional settings with enhanced lighting to highlight textures and make colours appear more vibrant. In normal lighting, the tones may look softer and more natural.
The “Ash” collection explores the beauty of natural materials transformed into glazes. Ashes from plants, horsehair, and even Svalbard coal react with the surface, forming patterns and colours that make every piece truly one of a kind and cannot be replicated.
The “Bubbles” collection uses a special technique that gives the impression of a surface covered in bubbles. Inspired by sea ice and brash ice, each handmade piece captures the textures and delicate patterns of frozen water, creating a playful and tactile effect.
The “Darkness” collection celebrates the beauty of black clay. Each handmade piece is enhanced with glazes that create striking contrasts, highlighting texture, depth, and the quiet elegance of the dark material.
The “Earth” collection is inspired by the ancient rock formations of Svalbard. With no vegetation to hide them, the mountains reveal unique colours, surfaces, and patterns — from smooth rock to cracks and crevices. Each handmade piece in this line is a tribute to those striking natural textures and the timeless beauty of the landscape.
My “Fields” collection celebrates colour and form. Each piece features distinct coloured fields, with colours playing together to create a lively, harmonious effect, making every item a unique work of art.
The “Frozen Pond” collection uses a special technique that melts and fuses glazes, creating unique patterns and beautiful colour transitions. Each handmade piece captures the delicate textures of flowing and frozen water, making every creation truly one of a kind.
“Furry Friends“: Animals have always played a big part in my life — cats, dogs, horses, and more. Each piece in the “Fury Friends” collection is my tribute to them, with their forms mirrored in the patterns or hand-painted details, capturing the moments they made me laugh, made me cry, and the memories I will always carry.
My “Ocean” collection is inspired by coral reefs and the life beneath the waves. As the waters around Svalbard warm, species and ecosystems are changing — these pieces are a silent reminder of the beauty beyond our gaze and the importance of protecting it.
The “Oil” collection uses a special technique that captures the effect of oil floating on a liquid surface. The colours melt into each other, reminding me of Svalbard — snow, ice, water, and earth — creating shimmering patterns and delicate shifts that make every piece special.
The “Rust” series draws inspiration from Svalbard, where weathered metal and natural elements create striking patterns. Each handmade piece features a unique rust effect, giving it character, depth, and a one-of-a-kind touch.
The “Svalbard” collection is inspired by the island’s rugged landscapes and natural colours. Each handmade piece reflects the textures, surfaces, and raw beauty of this Arctic environment, capturing a sense of place in every creation.
